Dear fellow Mac users,
Welcome back to the new semester. I’m sure you have gotten used to using a Mac and its many features available to you. In 2007, MacNUS will be organising many new activities that will help you realise the full potential of your Mac. The first of which will be our RAM mass order for MacBooks and MacBook Pros.
What is RAM? Well, the RAM is basically something placed in your Mac to allow it to perform operations. Essentially, more RAM means you get to run your applications faster. Mac OS X requires at least 700MB of RAM to function smoothly, and this is exactly the reason why you find that your brand new MacBooks are running sluggishly at times.
If your MacBook has been running sluggishly on the default 512MB of RAM, installing more RAM is the solution to your problems. Alright, now for the important point.
1GB RAM – $170 (non-members)
$165 (members)
(includes free installation)
Only limited stocks are available.
For more information and to order please email hansen@macnus.org
Yours Sincerely,
Hansen Teong
Vice President MacNUS
More and more evidence showing that Windows Vista was a direct copy of Tiger. The Vista executives, especially Jim Allchin, was so impressed with Tiger, as shown in the following email exchanges.
