Dear all,

MacNUS started off in May 2003 with a small group of Mac users who decided to start up a mailing list uniting Mac users in NUS. It slowly evolved, with the creation of an official site, and then in 2005, the MacNUS Forums. As of today we have about 500 unofficial members.

In the past few months, MacNUS has successfully
– Held the first of the Mac Seminars Series – “The power of X”
– Held talks with Com Centre with regards to webcasts
– Revamped the website and forums.
– Introduced the MacNUS official membership

We have future plans to make MacNUS a bigger club, by organising activities and training for Mac enthusiasts and newbies alike. With bigger plans comes a greater need for manpower. Thus I’ll like to invite those of you who are passionate about the Mac and willing to contribute, a chance to join the MacNUS executive committee, a team we simply call, Team MacNUS. As of now, the available positions are as follows;

1. Secretary
2. Treasurer
3. Mac P.R.O. (Public Relations Officer)
4. Webmaster
5. Welfare

You’ll have to be a current Mac user(owner), and a current undergrad of NUS. Most of all, you must have great passion for the Mac and the willingness to contribute for the Team. If you fulfil these requirements, download the attached form and send it back to ryu@macnus.org by 9th October, Monday.
